    1972 Member of Committee for a New China Policy's Delegation to China for a one-month visit as guests of the Chinese Peoples Institute for Foreign Affairs...preceding President Nixon's visit by one month. Met Premier Zhou En-lai!
    1973 Guest of Prime Minister Bhutto with my husband , Begum Bhutto and a planeful of Pakistani politicians on the inaugural flight of Pakistani International Airlines to China
    1973 Author of China section in Encyclopedia of World Travel (Doubleday)
    1978 Tutor of English to first Chinese students to attend Columbia University
    1980-82 Professor of English, English teacher trainer, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou (first foreign expert on that campus)
    1983-84 Tour Manager, China Worldwide Travel - led 2 tours to China
    1984 English teacher trainer for one month in my mother-in-law's birthplace in Fujian Province
    1985-90 Advisor to teachers from all over the U.S. going to China through my teaching in China Preparation Service. With Cora Chin, through the USCPFA recruited teachers to teach English in China.

    1986 Consultant, National Council of Churches, China Program - on recruitment and orientation of first group of teachers going to China
    1986 Hostess for 5 weeks to the first seminarians from China on behalf of the National Council of Churches, China Program
    1987 Tour Manager, Inter-Pacific Tours - led 1 tour to China
    1988 Compiler, editor, China Orientation Series for persons preparing to teach in China (unpublished)
    1990-present Adjunct Professor, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, N.J. Teach "Cross-Cultural Perspectives" one-third of which is about China
    1997 Writer, producer of a 3-hour videotape on China for training purposes of professors teaching "Cross-Culture Perspectives" in FDU's program in Israel
    1998 Visitor for 1 month in China to reconnect with old friends and learn about the changes which the open door policy has made in the lives of the Chinese. Visited international Liaison Office of the All China Women's Federation.
    2000 English teacher at a private school in Qingdao which enabled me to visit historical sites in Shandong.

    Taught about China in a cross-cultural course at Seton Hall University.

    2001 Through USCPFA participated in hostessing delegation from All China Women's Federation

    Honored by USCPFA for "Outstanding Contribution to USCPFA"

    2002 Teaching about China in cross-cultural courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Seton Hall University in New Jersey

    Gave multi-dimensional presentation to FDU faculty on how to teach Mao's Children: Voices from the Red Guard Generation

    Taught Tibetan English teachers at Qinghai Normal University in Xining for 6 weeks during the summer. Then visited Lhasa.

             Collector of "Chinese Revolutionary Art and Mao Era Memorabilia" which has been exhibited in various institutions in New York City, Connecticut and New Jersey.
             Hostess/landlady! to Chinese scholars who have for the last 12 years lived in my home rent-free while pursuing their studies. A family of four presently lives in my home.
